The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom continues to work in engaging and achieving a peaceful political environment for next generations of Kosovo and Serbia young people.

The regional inter-ethnic and inter-cultural dialogue programme is initiated in 2005 by the Friedrich Nuamann Foundation for Freedom Western Balkan.

The inter-cultural part of the programme is designed so the participants have the chance to get known with the heritage, culture, history from Kosovo and Serbia as well.

By working on facilitating dialogue and using dialogue to tackle current everyday issues that concern the citizens of Kosova and Serbia, the FNF will be showing that there are much more things in common that the communities have and the best way to resolve them its though community based dialogue. This will most certainly lead to improved ethnic relations between the communities in this region.

The programme takes place twice per year; in Kosova and Serbia.

The programme was attended by main stakeholders from the both countries including the Minister on Dialogue, Mrs Dr Edita Tahiri, FNF Alumni.

Minister Tahiri highly praised the role of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom for dialogue in Western Balkan, stressing that further progress in this dialogue should be supported in terms of effective implementation of the agreements, therefore the support of Germany is based on chapter 35 which defines Serbia's path to European Union by normalizing relations with Kosovo, which should be supported by all EU countries.

The regional inter-ethnic and inter-cultural dialogue programme by all participants was evaluated as a very highly valuable programme.
